5 Korean Skincare Brands Worth Trying
I have been diving deep into Korean Skincare brands and researching Korean Skincare for 2023 in the last few months. Whether you are looking for achieving the “glass skin” look, reducing acne, improving hydration, or clean beauty, K beauty seems to check all the boxes. For me, my skin is dry and thirsty. I have tried several K beauty products geared toward improving hydration, achieving a brighter and more even skin tone, and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I definitely have noticed healthier-looking skin and lips since I have incorporated the K beauty products into my skin care routine. The Laneige Lip Sleep Mask is a cult favorite and I can see why. I wear it at night and during the day because it really makes my lips soft and hydrated. I recently purchased the Snail Mucin Serum (another cult fav) by Cosrx. It feels so good going on and I apply it under makeup before i put on SPF and at night after my tretinoin. Its super hydrating but not at all greasy and Ive seen a reduction in dark spots on my cheeks.
It’s so important to check ingredient labels. Popular ingredients in Korean skincare products include: snail mucin, green tea, and hyaluronic acid. Did you know Korean skincare is known for its innovative and effective products, as well as its emphasis on self-care and taking the time to pamper oneself (which we all need more of!)? The products are affordable as well! Another plus is that Korean skincare products often focus on gentle, natural ingredients and multi-step routines (I will do another post on this soon) to promote optimal skin health. These are my 5 favorite brands that I have tried thus far. I’ll update more products as I try them. Check out my Social Media Korean Skincare love below!
